Gain hands-on experience across HR About Our Client As the HR Generalist, you will partner closely with employees and front-line leaders to support full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, workforce planning, and day-to-day HR operations. You'll serve as a trusted resource for managers, provide guidance on HR policies and best practices, assist with performance and staffing initiatives, and help ensure a positive employee experience across the organization. The position offers broad exposure to all facets of human resources, significant interaction with business leaders, and the chance to contribute to a company undergoing continued growth and expansion. Ideal candidates enjoy building relationships, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced environment where they can drive meaningful results. Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish. Prior HR experience in manufacturing or adjacent industry is preferred. This role is five days a week on-site in Suffolk County, Long Island. Job Description Handle employee relations, including addressing concerns and resolving conflicts effectively. Oversee recruitment processes, from job postings to onboarding new hires. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. Manage and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Administer employee benefits and respond to related inquiries. Support performance management and employee development initiatives. Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters. The Successful Applicant A successful HR Generalist should have: A solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and legal compliance. Experience with recruitment processes and employee relations. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Proficiency with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
