Job Description

HUMAN RESOURCES INTERN
$17/HR - PAID
INTERNSHIP
Corporate Offices at Uncle Giuseppe's Bilingual English/Spanish This role offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience across key HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and passionate about building a positive employee experience while developing foundational HR skills in a fast-paced environment. This role will focus within the recruitment functions of Human Resources - candidate MUST be bilingual in English/Spanish. Responsibilities
  • Support the interview process by coordinating and scheduling interviews for Corporate Office and store locations via phone and email
  • Conduct initial candidate pre-screens for select roles, documenting key qualifications and insights
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties within the HR Department, including filing, scanning, mail distribution, and preparing Team Member of the Month awards and correspondence
  • Utilize the UKG HRIS/Talent system to assist with daily updates and follow-ups for employees, new hires, and candidates
  • Provide general support to the HR team and assist with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned Requirements
  • Currently a Junior or Senior enrolled in a 4-year university, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Previous office or administrative experience preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
  • Highly motivated with strong integrity and professional ethics
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Eager to learn and gain experience within a fast-paced Human Resources environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with working knowledge of databases
  • Comfortable working with applicant tracking systems, preferably UKG What You'll Gain
  • Hands-on experience across multiple areas of Human Resources, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement
  • Exposure to HR systems and processes within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
