Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Bilingual Spanish/English Home Care Human Resources Generalist! In this vital role, you will serve as a key connector between our organization and our diverse workforce, ensuring seamless HR operations that support our mission to provide exceptional home care services. In this vital role, you will serve as a key connector between our organization and our diverse workforce, ensuring seamless HR operations that support our mission to provide exceptional home care services at our Long Island location. Duties Facilitate comprehensive employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are well-informed about company policies, culture, and expectations. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for patients and aides. Perform HR duties such as; applications, faxing, copying ,HHA Exchange application and assisting with any questions that the aides may have. Screening of calls and directing them to the correct department. Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health or behavior to appropriate department. Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is essential for effective communication with our diverse community. Support the coordination department with staffing cases as well with any HR related tasks. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients is continuously being provided by our HHA staffs. Skills Experience with knowledge of the Home Care business and familiar with HR related tasks such as filing, printing, word document, excel, computer savvy and is willing to learn other areas. HHA Exchange, CHRC, Home Care Registry experience preferred. Must be bilingual Spanish and English to better assist our patients and employees. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, employees and healthcare providers. Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding while working with diverse populations. Capable of managing time efficiently and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
