Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care/Human Resources Generalist to provide essential support in our location in Merrick, NY. This role is ideal for individuals with experience as HR administrative support, in our day to day needs. The individual will play a vital role in ensuring the we are promptly hiring our HHAs and PCAs as applicants with the company as well as the supporting the HR department as needed. Duties Assist aides and patients with requests and change of schedules by communicating with their coordinators. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for patients and aides. Perform HR duties such as; applications, HHA Exchange application and assisting with any questions that the aides may have. Screening of calls and directing them to the correct department. Maintain accurate records of aides and report any changes in behavior to HR management supervisors. Support the coordination department with providing aides to help staff any open cases. Skills Experience with knowledge of the Home Care business and familiar with HR related tasks such as filing, printing, word document, excel, computer savvy and is willing to learn other areas. HHA Exchange, CHRC, Home Care Registry experience preferred. Must be bilingual Spanish and English to better assist our patients and employees. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, employees and healthcare providers. Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding while working with diverse populations. Capable of managing time efficiently and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.

$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
