Job Summary :
The EI Evaluation Coordinator is responsible for establishing and maintaining a professional working relationship with all Service Coordinators and County Officials. The Coordinator is responsible for conducting outreach, ensuring all evaluation referrals are assigned to clinically appropriate teams in a timely manner and that the evaluation process flows smoothly for all parties involved
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
MUST BE BILINGUAL SPANISH
Processing and strategically staffing all EI evaluation referrals. Staffing of EI referrals will be required on an as needed basis. Ensuring accurate and timely data entry Communicate with various professionals to ensure evaluations are scheduled within a timely manner. Request and process evaluation reports/paperwork upon receipt. Ensuring child files are compliant with state and county regulations Communicating with families regarding the evaluation process and providing support throughout the evaluation process. Submit completed evaluation packets to the appropriate individuals. Utilizes various programs and databases to monitor evaluation cases efficiently. Conduct activities to grow the evaluation department Work efficiently to meet all departmental goals and compliance deadlines Ensure appropriate clinical coverage is available for all CPSE and EI meetings. Assist with the resolution of billing issues Provide coverage for the CPSE Evaluation Coordinator as needed. Other duties as assigned by manager Physical Requirements of the
Role:
Occasionally moving and/or lifting objects at work weighing up to 20 pounds such as files or copy paper. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the work day working on a computer/electronic device. The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Job Description is Subject to Change.
