Job Description

Human Resources Generalist Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Salary:
$55,000-$70,000 annually, based on experience We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support employees and managers within a growing manufacturing environment. This hands-on position will manage a variety of HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, payroll support, benefits administration, training, compliance, and offboarding. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, and comfortable handling sensitive employee matters with professionalism and discretion. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruiting for production, engineering, and office positions Create job postings, screen applicants, coordinate interviews, and prepare offers Lead new-hire orientation, onboarding, and employment documentation Serve as a primary HR contact for employees and managers Address policy questions, employee concerns, conflict resolution, and workplace issues Assist with medical, dental, retirement, and other employee benefits Review timecards, attendance records, and payroll information for accuracy Maintain confidential digital personnel files and HR records Track workers' compensation cases and related documentation Support compliance with OSHA, FMLA, employment laws, and company policies Coordinate annual safety updates, compliance training, and onboarding programs Conduct exit interviews and process separation paperwork Assist with unemployment claims and other offboarding responsibilities Qualifications Two to four years of human resources experience Manufacturing or industrial HR experience strongly preferred Knowledge of recruiting, employee relations, benefits, and HR compliance Proficiency with Microsoft Office Ability to learn and work within HR software systems Paycom experience is a plus Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Life insurance Short-term disability insurance Stable, full-time schedule Opportunity to grow within the organization
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
