The ideal candidate will ensure a positive work environment, manage employee concerns, and support HR operations to enhance workplace satisfaction and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution:
Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and workplace disputes. Implement employee relations strategies to foster a positive and inclusive remote work culture. Mediate conflicts and provide guidance on performance improvement plans (PIPs) and disciplinary actions.
HR Compliance & Policy Enforcement:
Ensure HR policies align with labor laws, industry regulations, and company values. Maintain compliance with aviation and safety industry HR standards. Manage workplace investigations and provide reports to HR leadership.
Remote Employee Engagement & Retention:
Develop engagement programs to boost morale and productivity in a fully remote workforce. Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews to understand employee experiences and improve retention. Organize virtual training sessions, team-building activities, and wellness initiatives.
Onboarding & HR Administration:
Assist in hiring processes, new employee orientation, and remote onboarding. Maintain accurate HR records and update employee databases. Support payroll, benefits administration, and compliance reporting.
Performance Management & Development:
Support managers in employee evaluations, feedback sessions, and talent development plans. Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs. Ensure alignment between employee goals and company objectives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
2+ years in HR coordination, employee relations, or a similar HR role (preferably in aviation, engineering, or tech industries).
Skills:
Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of HR laws, compliance, and best practices. Experience with HR software (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, or similar ATS and payroll tools). Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
