This is a hands-on role for an HR professional who will take ownership of day-to-day payroll while also supporting benefits administration, employee needs, and broader HR initiatives. This individual will partner closely with HR and Finance and serve as a key resource for employees across the organization. This position will be on-site in Beaverton, OR, with one day of remote flexibility per week and will require some travel. The anticipated salary range is $70,000-$80,000 annually.
Responsibilities:
Manage accurate and timely multi-state payroll processing. Serve as a key resource for employee payroll and benefits questions. Support payroll activities associated with organizational growth and integration. Assist with employee benefits administration and annual open enrollment. Partner with HR and Finance to resolve payroll and benefits-related matters. Coordinate with external payroll providers, benefits brokers, and vendors. Maintain accurate records and support payroll and benefits compliance. Assist with reporting, audits, reconciliations, and process improvements. Support broader HR initiatives and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Strong multi-state payroll experience required. Benefits administration experience strongly preferred. Experience within a growing or evolving organization is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of payroll practices and related compliance requirements. Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable partnering across HR, Finance, and other areas of the organization. Ability to travel periodically based on business needs.
