Job Description

Job Title:
Human Resources Benefits Specialist Overview:
As a Human Resources Specialist, you will perform a variety of tasks related to benefits renewals, statements and billing. You will be responsible for the planning and administration of open enrollment, wellness, ACA, and Education Assistance programs. You will also support the Human Resources team in payroll and other cross-functional processes.
What You'll Do:
Day in the Life - Every day you will manage benefits renewals, billing, and statements. You will work with outside vendors, such as wellness providers and insurance representatives, to help answer internal employees benefits questions. You will support wellness initiatives and handle open enrollment as well as process payroll changes and assist with life insurance and disability plans. What it Takes - To thrive in this role you must maintain confidentiality, have an Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business Management, or have 2-3 years of HR experience with a focus on benefits. Additionally, experience in HRIS benefits and reporting, intermediate Excel/Word, and the ability to think critically, adapt and problem solve will be paramount to this role.
Bonus Points:
Bilingual/Multilingual Certified SHRM designation (CP) ADP reporting and system maintenance.

Hybrid telecommuting opportunities in available open office space within German American footprint as training concludes in Jasper, IN.
