Overview Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a highly flexible, part-time schedule? Whether you are semi-retired or a stay-at-home parent seeking steady freelance work, this long-term 1099 contract role is the perfect fit. You will act as the sole, dedicated HR and Payroll expert for two distinct clients, working approximately 20 hours per week in total .
The Work Environment Client A:
20 full-time employees.
Client B:
20 full-time employees, plus 30 rotating interns (on payroll for 6 months of the year).
Schedule & Location:
Primarily remote. You will only be required to go onsite on an as-needed basis (generally once a month for each client).
Key Responsibilities Payroll & Benefits:
Process standard payroll for one organization, act as the primary benefits administrator, and coordinate/host Open Enrollment (OE) meetings.
HR Leadership:
Serve as the standalone HR department, advising leadership on current HR best practices and managing all employee relations.
Performance Management:
Collaborate directly with the Executive Director and supervisors to guide and execute the performance review process.
Administration:
Draft, review, and implement necessary edits to employee handbooks. Who You Are An experienced HR Generalist with hands-on payroll processing experience in Paylocity. A self-starter who is highly capable of working independently. Someone seeking a stable, long-term, part-time commitment.
