We are the bridge between manufacturers and specialty retailers, ensuring our customers have the latest products to excite their fans. Position Summary We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented New Account Onboarding / Customer Service Specialist to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for new retail partners (accounts). Your primary goal is to guide new accounts through the setup process—from initial documentation to their first, successful order. You will ensure a seamless onboarding experience, foster long-term loyalty and help retailers get up to speed on our product lines, ordering systems, and policies.Key Responsibilities Retailer Onboarding & Activation:
Guide new retail customers through the end-to-end setup process.Training & Education:
Conduct virtual walkthroughs and tutorials on our B2B ordering portal, showing customers how to navigate product listings, preorder future releases, and place inventory restock orders.Product & Policy Knowledge:
Act as a subject matter expert on Universal Distribution's policies, shipping procedures, and product categories.Relationship Building:
Act as the dedicated guide for the first 30-60 days, providing high-touch support to ensure a positive first impression of Universal Distribution.Documentation Management:
Maintain accurate records of all new account documentation and ensure compliance with company requirements.Requirements and Skills Industry Passion:
Interest in or knowledge of comic books, TCGs, and pop culture merchandise is preferred.Experience:
1-3 years of experience in customer onboarding, account management, or high-volume B2B customer service.Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; you must be comfortable conducting video tutorials and building rapport quickly.Technical Aptitude:
Comfortable with CRM software, MS Office (Excel/Word), and quick to learn new systems.Organization:
