Job Description

As a Placement Specialist with Educational Partners International (EPI), you will be responsible for organizing and facilitating interviews between US schools and international teachers. During the interviews, you will represent EPI by managing candidate attendance, evaluating candidate performance, and communicating with both candidates and hiring teams. You will also be working with Google Sheets to analyze interview performance data, make recommendations for improvements as necessary, and assist with data entry for various team projects to ensure data accuracy and integrity. In this role, you will need to rely upon your independent judgement while also working as part of a team. We are looking for someone who enjoys external-facing conversations, builds strong rapport with primary stakeholders, and uses creative problem solving to secure three way wins. Those who will enjoy this role work well with autonomy, and are flexible, highly emotionally intelligent, and passionate about creating a global world view for US students through cultural exchange.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Organizing and hosting interviews between US schools and international candidates Selecting international candidates for interviews with our partnered schools Evaluating teacher candidates remotely to determine professional abilities and providing coaching as needed Capturing progress and key data points via spreadsheets and website data entry Prioritizing tasks as necessary to ensure projects are completed on time Providing written and verbal customer service to international candidates and partner districts Maintaining a positive and professional mindset, even when confronted with new challenges Working with other teams and team members to support teachers across the EPI cultural exchange program Additional projects as defined by management
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required 2+ years of professional experience, preferably in a candidate, client, or customer facing role Experience with Google Suite, with intermediate knowledge of Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines with minimal supervision Ability to prioritize as necessary to ensure projects are completed on time Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Initiative to take on new challenges with autonomy as needed A valid US driver's license Must be able to pass a background check and drug test Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (see 22 CFR 62.2) Attendance at required company events and teacher orientations Travel up to 5% of the time as necessary for company events
