As it continues to grow onto a second campus in the Maryvale area it looks to redesign its Human Resources department to include talent acquisition and improve internal employee function efficiency. This role will have the ability to build the newly acquired HRIS system from the ground up and work alongside members of the Senior Management Team to develop the workflows and hiring processes that will allow school leaders and other heads of their departments to maintain focus on their core responsibilities. After full implementation of the HRIS system is complete, this role will shift into proactive talent pipeline development, building relationships w/ local universities and screening top candidates to pass along to hiring managers with open positions. The Talent & HR Lead serves as a trusted advisor to leadership and its employees and is crucial to ensuring the organization's compliance and future success. This role combines strategic HR leadership with hands-on operational execution ensuring the organization attracts, develops, and retains high-performing talent while creating scalable systems, processes, and culture. Principal Responsibilities Develop Recruiting Strategy & Talent Pipeline (Building university partnerships; Continuous candidate pipeline development; Workforce planning (in partnership with Executive Director); Employer branding) Candidate Screening & Hiring Quality Control (Develop and execute structured screening processes; Conduct pre-screen interviews, evaluating candidate fit and ensuring only high-quality, well-vetted candidates reach final interviews with leaders) Hiring Process Design & Consistency (Standardizing interview processes (rubrics for hiring different positions, types of questions asked, etc.); Staying up to date with requirements for roles (certifications, licenses, state/federal mandates); Improving candidate experience) Culture & Organizational Visibility (Monitoring campus differences and emerging issues (inconsistencies that could cause issues, or that dictate adjustments to that campus's hiring needs); Escalating key concerns to leadership/Executive Director) HR Operations Oversight (Develop and manage HR support role(s); set and review metrics for HR support role(s); Ensure systems are functioning effectively; audits of HRIS system)
Note:
For first 6-12 months of role, priority for the Talent & HR Lead is transition to new HRIS system. Focus and percentage of time shifts to the following during this time: HRIS implementation & adoption (Workflow designs, time & attendance set-up, reports creation, manager training; Enforcing system usage; Data cleanup and standardization) Hiring System Design (Establish screening criteria; Build interview templates; Align hiring managers on hiring expectations) Pipeline Building (University outreach and relationship development; Tracking system for outreach interactions) Oversee process standardization for all HR processes; contribute as needed
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
