Job Description
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the HR Generalist will be responsible for all human resources functions as well as various administrative tasks.
- The day-to-day administration of HR policies and processes ensuring compliance with local, state and federal employment law and internal processes
- All phases of hiring including advertising, screening, interviewing, background checks, drug screens, onboarding and orientation
- Serve as point of contact for employees regarding benefits related issues including enrollment and maintenance of benefits enrollment records
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees for any employee relations issues and work with management to respond and resolve accordingly
- Provide support to managers regarding training, performance counseling and or any other employment related issues
- Liaison with Worker's Compensation carrier and monitor claims, serve as contact for employees
- Work closely with corporate human resources department to ensure all company policies are communicated and implemented
- The Generalist will also provide administrative support as needed (pulling and compiling warehouse and sales reports, etc.).

Position Requirements/Preferences:
- Human resources-related work experience with demonstrable knowledge of employment processes, employment law and benefits administration. Experience with payroll administration and 401k enrollment is a plus (a willingness to learn required)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Word and Excel
- Strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail
- Previous experience maintaining records and/or databases, with a proven track record of maintaining confidential information
- A strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work with and communicate effectively
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, but related work experience will be considered
