Job Description
Reports To Owner / President Position Summar y The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's human resources functions while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and employment laws. This position serves as a trusted advisor to management and employees by fostering a positive workplace culture, supporting business objectives, and maintaining consistent HR practices. The HR Manager leads recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, training, payroll support, policy development, and compliance initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Employee Relations Coordinate new hire onboarding Ensure completion of employment documentation, including I-9s, W-4s, and personnel files. Develop and maintain job descriptions for all positions. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and workplace issues. Conduct investigations into employee complaints and policy violations. Coach managers on employee performance, discipline, and conflict resolution. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws. Maintain employee records and HR documentation in accordance with legal requirements. Update company policies and employee handbook as laws and business needs change. Coordinate responses to unemployment claims, employment verifications, and government audits. Assist managers with employee coaching and development plans. Coordinate corrective actions, written warnings, suspensions, and terminations while ensuring legal compliance. Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, PTO, and other company-sponsored benefits. Coordinate benefit enrollments, changes, and open enrollment. Maintain accurate employee data affecting payroll. Review payroll changes including new hires, terminations, wage adjustments, deductions, and benefit elections. Develop and coordinate employee training programs. Assist department managers with leadership development and employee growth opportunities. Coordinate workplace safety initiatives and required safety training. Assist with accident investigations and injury reporting.???????
