Make an Impact Where HR Meets the Business Are you an HR professional who enjoys interacting with employees and leadership—not just sitting at a desk all day ? Wisconsin Homes is looking for an experienced Human Resources professional to join our HR team and support approximately 130 employees in our office and home construction manufacturing operation. This role partners with our HR Team, Leadership team, and Managers. Help lead initiatives focused on talent management, organizational growth, and employee engagement. This is a role for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, supporting managers, and helping create a positive and accountable workplace. We are strategically realigning our HR team and are open to candidates with different areas of HR strength. What You'll Do Employee Relations & Manager Support Serve as a trusted and approachable HR resource for manufacturing and office employees Partner with managers on employee relations, attendance, performance, coaching, corrective action, and workplace concerns Assist with employee investigations and appropriate documentation Help managers consistently apply company policies and expectations Support performance reviews and employee development Build strong working relationships throughout the organization Help foster a workplace culture built on collaboration, accountability, respect, and ownership Recruiting, Onboarding & Retention Partner with the HR team throughout the recruiting and hiring process Lead portions of new employee orientation and onboarding Support employee engagement and retention initiatives Help identify opportunities to improve the employee experience Coordinate training and monitor onboarding progress HR Administration, Benefits & Compliance Maintain employee records, HRIS information, attendance records, and personnel documentation Support benefits administration, leave management, FMLA, short-term disability, and workers' compensation Help ensure compliance with federal and Wisconsin employment laws Assist with HR policies, procedures, employee communications, and company initiatives Respond to employee questions regarding benefits, attendance, policies, leave, and workplace concerns Benefits & Payroll - approximately 20% of the role Coordinate and manage reviews and pay rates, salaries, and incentives
