Human Resources Generalist Position Function:
The Human Resources Generalist supports the full scope of HR responsibilities, including employee records management, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, leave management, and compliance. This role also plays a key part in promoting employee engagement and ensuring HR practices align with organizational goals, policies, and applicable laws.HR Generalist Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, conducting reference checks, and managing background screenings.
- Facilitate hiring processes for hourly and salaried employees, including scheduling assessments when required.
- Communicate company policies, benefits, and HR procedures to employees and candidates.
- Administer employee benefits, workers' compensation, FMLA, STD, and other leave programs, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Track, monitor, and manage employee leave balances and related documentation.
- Prepare and maintain HR reports, metrics, and documentation as needed.
- Partner with managers and employees to address HR-related questions and provide guidance.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, such as recognition programs, employee surveys, and communication efforts to foster a positive work culture.

- Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field.
- Solid knowledge of HR principles, practices, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with leave management and benefits administration.
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ADP preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and confidentiality.
