We provide extensive services from planning studies, design and construction, to periodic testing and maintenance. The Role We're seeking a driven, hands-on Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will lead the recruiting efforts for engineering and other positions across Alaska. Washington, and possibly other locations. This position will also provide support for other HR functions as needed. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will use creative sourcing strategies, relationship-building, and in-person recruiting events to consistently attract and hire top talent for our company. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are vital to the success of this role. Responsibilities Partner with hiring managers to develop and refine job postings Conduct outreach on various job platforms, social media, referrals, networking, and proactive outreach Screen applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates Manage high-volume requisitions to fill current and anticipated openings Develop and execute recruitment strategies to build strong talent pipelines Plan, schedule, and attend recruiting events, job fairs, expos, and community outreach efforts Promote our company brand, culture, and career opportunities to candidates and external partners Coordinate interviews, background checks, reference checks, and employment processing Communicate regularly with candidates regarding application status and next steps Ensure compliance with EEO guidelines and employment laws throughout the recruiting process Maintain accurate applicant tracking, reporting, compliance documentation (VEVRAA, Section 503, AAP, NDE Analyses) Requirements 2+ years of recruiting experience in a professional or hard-to-fill roles environment Experience in writing, revising, and optimizing job postings Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously Experience in sourcing talent on multiple job boards, social media, and alternative platforms Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and ATS platforms, preferably ADP Serve as a liaison between hiring managers and candidates to understand hiring goals, priorities, and needs Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Experience with onboarding and pre-employment processes Strong knowledge of Affirmative Action Plans (AAP), EEO compliance, and employment laws Driven in sourcing and engaging candidates as well as university outreach for recruiting Experience utilizing social media as a recruiting tool Highly organized, detail-oriented, display initiative, and able to work independently Ability to work well with others when needed, have an excellent work ethic and attendance record Driven to take the lead on finding new job posting platforms as well as updating and maintaining current ones.
