Job Description

When someone applies for a job, the small things tell them a lot about the team: whether they hear back, whether an interview starts on time and whether the next step is clear. As a Recruitment Assistant in Montgomery , you would help make that experience feel organized and respectful from the first message onward. This is an internal people-support role for a software business. You would not be expected to make hiring decisions or pretend to be a technical recruiter. Instead, you would keep the process moving for candidates and hiring managers, learn how vacancies are handled and become a reliable point of contact when a meeting or detail changes. The practical side The proposed weekday schedule is 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on-site. During that time, your work would include coordinating interview times, confirming attendance and making sure candidates have the correct location and contact details. You would update applicant records, prepare interview schedules and let the appropriate person know when someone needs a response.
Accuracy counts:
one wrong time or missing message can leave a candidate feeling forgotten. There is also a more human side to the job. You may be the first person an applicant speaks with, so a helpful tone matters even when you are busy. You should be able to handle personal information discreetly, listen without making promises about an outcome and keep conversations focused on the next agreed step. If a process could be clearer, we want you to speak up rather than quietly work around it. Signs you could do well here You keep track of commitments and can follow a process without losing the person behind it. Your emails are clear, accurate and easy for someone else to act on. You can work with calendars and shared records, and you are willing to learn an applicant-tracking system. You remain professional when an interview changes at short notice. You do not need a recruiting qualification to start . Show us that you are organized, considerate and ready to take responsibility for the parts of the process that belong to you. This could be a useful entry point for someone who wants to learn how teams hire and how a growing business supports its people. You would also learn how to balance a candidate's need for a clear answer with the hiring manager's need for an accurate schedule. We would be interested to hear how you have kept a busy process on track.
