$23.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experienceJob Type:
Full-time Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 0900-1730. This position also requires flexibility to work weekends, attend recruiting events, and provide field support at special events when operationally needed.Position Summary:
Treston Security Services is seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly organized Security Recruiter to join our team. This position will work primarily from our South Gate office and will be responsible for recruiting, screening, and assisting with the onboarding of qualified security professionals for standing accounts and large-scale special events. The ideal candidate understands high-volume recruiting, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable supporting operations in the field when needed.Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit qualified security officers, supervisors, event staff, and management candidates.
- Post and manage job advertisements across multiple recruiting platforms.
- Review applications and resumes, conduct initial screenings, and schedule interviews.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring and onboarding process.
- Verify required licenses, certifications, identification, and employment documentation.
- Coordinate with Human Resources and Operations regarding staffing needs and hiring priorities.
- Maintain accurate candidate records, hiring trackers, and recruiting reports.
- Conduct recruiting outreach through job fairs, community organizations, workforce programs, schools, and Veteran organizations.
- Assist with new-hire orientations, uniform distribution, and event check-ins when required.
- Travel to event locations and recruiting activities throughout Los Angeles County, Orange County, and surrounding areas.
- Support weekend special events and high-volume staffing operations as needed.
- Represent Treston Security Services professionally when interacting with applicants, employees, clients, and community partners.
Qualifications:
- Previous recruiting, staffing, Human Resources, or security industry experience preferred.
- High-volume recruiting or special-event staffing experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, interviewing, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple open positions and meet staffing deadlines.
- Comfortable working in an office environment and supporting field operations.
- Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, online job boards, and applicant-tracking systems.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to event locations.
- Ability to work weekends, extended hours, and changing schedules when operationally required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of California BSIS licensing requirements is a plus.
