Job Description
Campus Manager HealthStaff Training Institute (HSTI) | West Covina, CA About the Role HSTI is looking for a hands-on Campus Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our West Covina campus. This role blends campus oversight with active participation in admissions, so you'll be equally comfortable managing a team and running your own admissions pipeline. You'll be the primary on-site point of contact, ensuring the campus runs smoothly, staff show up prepared, and every student has a professional, welcoming experience from their first visit through enrollment. What You'll Do Provide daily on-site oversight of the campus, including opening/closing procedures, staffing coverage, and a visible leadership presence. Conduct regular walkthroughs to keep classrooms, offices, and common areas clean, organized, and ready for operation. Monitor employee punctuality, attendance, and professionalism, and hold staff accountable to expectations. Support coordination between Admissions, Education, Student Services, Career Services, and other departments. Address routine operational issues promptly and escalate significant concerns to leadership.
Actively participate in student recruitment:
respond to inquiries, schedule and conduct admissions appointments and campus tours, and guide prospective students through enrollment. Interview prospective students to understand their goals and readiness for training, and provide accurate information on programs, requirements, and schedules. Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective students from inquiry through enrollment and start, and keep accurate records in HSTI's systems. Meet assigned goals for admissions activity, appointments, and enrollments. Never guarantee employment, job placement, salary, or future earnings to prospective or current students. Help maintain a positive, accountable, student-focused campus culture, and assist with orientations, events, and other initiatives as needed. What We're Looking For Experience in admissions, enrollment, education, sales, customer service, or operations preferred. Previous managerial experience preferred. Career college, vocational education, or healthcare training experience highly desirable. Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to balance team leadership with hands-on admissions responsibilities. Comfortable holding others accountable while maintaining a positive, professional environment. Strong sense of urgency, follow-through, and ability to manage shifting priorities. Sound independent judgment in day-to-day campus matters.
