Hybrid in our Lakeland office (3 days in office) Summary The Recruiter will be responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment for both exempt and non-exempt positions across the organization. This role partners closely with hiring managers to identify, attract, and hire top talent that supports the company's growth. As recruiting volume fluctuates, the recruiter will also be responsible for supporting key HR functions such as new hire communications and onboarding coordination, including scheduling and facilitating orientation. The ideal candidate brings strong recruitment expertise, project management skills, and the ability to manage agency relationships when needed. This is an onsite position located in our Lakeland office. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manage the full recruitment lifecycle using the applicant tracking system (ATS), including screening, interviewing, and hiring, background check monitoring Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to engage both active and passive candidates using a variety of platforms and technologies Partner with hiring managers to assess talent needs, define job requirements, and provide regular updates on hiring progress Maintain a current library of job descriptions and sourcing resources Follow established recruitment processes and meet defined timelines Conduct phone screens and provide qualified candidate recommendations to hiring managers for next-step interviews (via Microsoft Teams or onsite) Coordinate with the team to schedule interviews and manage candidate communications Collaborate with the compensation team to understand job grading and banding structures Present job offers to candidates and guide them through the acceptance process General understanding of HR best practices, company benefits, and policies to assist employees and leaders with questions Perform other HR type duties as assigned Education and Experience Bachelor's degree preferred, however exceptional experience is considered Two or more years' experience working in corporate recruiting Two or more years' prior experience working with applicant tracking systems required Experience with Paycor ATS a plus Prior experience working as an HR generalist or coordinator a plus Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent verbal and written ability to communicate in a positive and professional manner with a strong desire to service the customer Proficiency with computer applications (MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), applicant tracking system and social media tools Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities, work independently, organize, analyze and interpret information in a clear and concise manner Ability to maintain the highest standards in confidentiality to sensitive information Exceptional attention to detail Strong problem solving and independent decision-making abilities Strong mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractional conversions) Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the company Ability to establish work priorities, follow through, and meet established deadlines with sound organization skills Work Environment / Physical Demands This position is in a typical office environment which requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer and ability to talk to candidates over the phone for extended periods. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment including operation of standard phone and computer equipment. May have occasional high stress and long hours when deadlines are approaching.
