Description We are looking for a Recruiter to support hiring efforts in Baton Rouge, Louisiana through a long-term contract assignment. This position will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from talent sourcing and candidate evaluation through offer coordination and pre-onboarding activities. The role works closely with recruiting leadership and hiring teams to align staffing plans with business needs while delivering a thoughtful candidate experience. Success in this position requires strong organization, proactive communication, and the ability to manage recruiting activity across multiple openings.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with recruiting leadership and hiring teams to build and execute hiring plans that support current and future staffing needs.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing talent, reviewing applications, conducting initial screenings, coordinating interviews, and supporting offer delivery.
• Build candidate pipelines through job boards, referrals, networking, social platforms, career events, and other targeted outreach methods.
• Maintain consistent communication with applicants throughout the hiring process, including interview preparation, follow-up discussions, and status updates.
• Assess resumes, applications, and screening results to identify candidates whose background and experience match role requirements and company culture.
• Coordinate reference checks, pre-employment assessments, and other hiring steps needed to move selected candidates toward their first day.
• Keep applicant tracking records accurate and up to date while documenting candidate progress, recruiting activity, and related data.
• Monitor hiring trends, talent market conditions, and recruiting results, then share insights and metrics with recruiting management.
• Support the upkeep of position profiles and collaborate with internal stakeholders to reflect changes in workforce needs and job expectations.
• Ensure all recruiting practices follow applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and internal standards. Requirements
• Experience managing full-cycle recruiting processes from sourcing through placement.
• Background in corporate recruiting, including support for multiple openings in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to source candidates using online platforms, referrals, networking channels, and direct outreach.
• Familiarity with high-volume recruitment workflows and candidate pipeline management.
• Hands-on experience working with an applicant tracking system and maintaining accurate recruiting records.
• Strong skills in candidate screening, interview coordination, and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to analyze resumes and qualifications to determine alignment with job requirements.
• Working knowledge of employment-related compliance requirements and recruiting best practices.
