Recruiter Northlake Behavioral Health System | Mandeville, LA Full-time | Exempt About Us Northlake Behavioral Health System is a non-profit inpatient behavioral health hospital serving the Northshore region, with our affiliated outpatient and residential programs at The Ness Center. Our teams provide compassionate, high-quality psychiatric and substance use treatment, and every hire we make matters to the patients we serve. About the Role We are looking for a Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting across our hospital and outpatient programs. You will be the face of Northlake to candidates, schools, and community partners, filling clinical and non-clinical roles and building the talent pipelines that keep our programs staffed. You will report directly to the HR Director and have real ownership of how we recruit. What You'll Do Run full-cycle recruiting for all positions: posting, screening, interviewing, and offers. Use your judgment to decide which candidates move forward, and negotiate offers within approved pay ranges. Create offer letters, run background checks, and initiate pre-employment drug screens. Choose and manage our job boards, advertising channels, and staffing agency relationships. Represent Northlake at job fairs, college and career events, and community outreach. Build partnerships with area schools, colleges, technical programs, and workforce development programs to create new talent pipelines. Partner with hiring managers to build and update job descriptions. Track recruiting metrics and recommend hiring strategies to leadership. What You'll Bring 3+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, or 2+ years plus a Bachelor's degree. Healthcare recruiting experience, especially behavioral health, is strongly preferred. An upbeat, positive, team-oriented style; you enjoy being out in front of candidates and community partners. Strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential information. Excellent organization and follow-through across many open positions at once. Equal Opportunity Employer Northlake Behavioral Health System is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
