Job Description

As a critical member of the Human Resources, Talent Acquisition team, the HR Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance for hiring Tulane University personnel. The primary duties include initiating and tracking background check requirements for compliance with federal and Louisiana state laws. The HR Coordinator works under the direction of the Director of Talent Acquisition and the Talent Acquisition Manager. Provides stellar customer service to enhance the candidate experience. Stays abreast of local, state, and federal hiring regulations. Provides exceptional customer service to all constituents while performing a variety of administrative duties.
Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree and one year clerical/office administrative experience OR High School Diploma/Equivalent and two years' clerical/office administrative experience
Preferred Qualification:
Human Resources experience. Work experience in a higher education setting.
