Human Resources Generalist & President General Description The Onsite Part-Time Temporary Contract Recruiter is initally responsible for supporting the full-cycle recruiting process for manufacturing and warehouse positions. This role will screen applicants, conduct phone and onsite interviews, coordinate pre-employment requirements, and prepare candidates for hire. The Recruiter will work closely with HR and hiring managers to help maintain appropriate staffing levels and provide a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring and onboarding process. This assignment may grow into recruiting for other positions. Principle Responsibilities Review and screen resumes and applications for open manufacturing and warehouse positions as the primary and unit of assignment. Identify qualified candidates based on position requirements, experience, availability, and overall fit. Conduct initial phone interviews with prospective candidates. Schedule and conduct onsite interviews. Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and supervisors when necessary. Maintain timely communication with candidates throughout the recruiting and hiring process. Provide candidates with accurate information regarding job duties, schedules, pay, expectations, and the work environment. Prepare and send offer letters to selected candidates. Initiate pre-employment background checks and drug screens. Monitor the status of background checks and drug screens and follow up as needed. Coordinate candidates start dates once all pre-employment requirements have been completed. Conduct new-hire onboarding and orientation, including completion of required employment paperwork. Ensure new-hire documentation is complete and accurate. Maintain organized recruiting records and candidate information. Provide regular updates regarding open positions, candidate pipelines, interviews, offers, and upcoming start dates. Partner with HR, supervisors, and management to understand current staffing needs and hiring priorities. Assist with recruiting events, job fairs, and other recruiting initiatives as needed. Perform other recruiting-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous recruiting, staffing, human resources, or talent acquisition experience preferred. Manufacturing, warehouse, skilled trades, or high-volume recruiting experience strongly preferred. Experience conducting phone and in-person interviews. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and follow-up skills. Ability to manage multiple candidates and open positions simultaneously. Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of the recruiting process. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee and candidate information appropriately. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems. Experience with Indeed, LinkedIn, applicant tracking systems, background screening platforms, or similar recruiting tools is a plus. Education and Work Experience Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, relevant experience. Human Resources degree preferred. 2-3 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or related Human Resources experience preferred. Computer Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel.
