As we continue to grow across North America, we are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will partner with business leaders across the United States and Canada to attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent across transportation, water, wastewater, energy, environmental, and digital infrastructure markets. This is a highly visible role that combines full-cycle recruitment with talent advisory responsibilities. You will develop sourcing strategies, build talent pipelines, provide market intelligence, and help leaders make informed hiring decisions while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. Success in this role comes from building strong relationships, influencing stakeholders, and helping Mott MacDonald secure the talent needed to support our continued growth. Responsibilities Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technical, professional, and leadership positions across North America. Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Lead intake meetings and provide guidance on talent availability, market trends, and hiring best practices. Proactively source and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, industry associations, and other channels. Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and future hiring needs. Create compelling job advertisements, recruitment marketing campaigns, and candidate outreach strategies. Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a positive and professional experience throughout the hiring process. Coordinate interviews, manage feedback, facilitate hiring decisions, and support offer development and negotiation. Promote Mott MacDonald's employee ownership culture, career opportunities, and employee value proposition. Maintain accurate applicant tracking system records and ensure compliance with recruitment processes and policies. Track hiring activity, pipeline health, and recruitment metrics to support business decisions. Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and contribute to workforce planning and talent strategy discussions. Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, candidate engagement, and hiring outcomes. Represent Mott MacDonald at career fairs, networking events, industry conferences, and other talent attraction initiatives. Qualifications 5+ years of recruitment experience in an agency, corporate, or blended recruiting environment. Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple disciplines and stakeholder groups. Strong direct sourcing skills with experience identifying and attracting passive talent. Experience using applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and modern recruitment technologies. Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. High level of organisation, attention to detail, and accountability. Passion for delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience. Experience recruiting within engineering, infrastructure, consulting, construction, environmental, energy, or related technical industries preferred Knowledge of the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry preferred.
