Job Description
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support the onboarding journey from accepted offer through an employee's first day, ensuring a smooth and compliant onboarding experience. This Long-term Contract position requires a highly organized, proactive individual who can manage frequent communication with candidates, hiring leaders, and internal partners. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling detailed pre-employment tasks, and maintaining a detail-oriented approach with individuals at all organizational levels.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee pre-employment coordination after offer acceptance, guiding each new employee through onboarding steps until their first day of work.
- Manage employment verification activities, including extensive I-9 support and follow-up to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Monitor background screening progress, answer candidate questions, and proactively reach out to resolve delays or incomplete items.
- Initiate and track fleet-related checks for applicable roles while maintaining accuracy across high-volume administrative tasks.
- Lead or support onboarding classroom sessions, including days with multiple groups requiring document review and compliance completion.
- Maintain frequent communication with candidates through calls, texts, and other outreach methods to keep onboarding activities moving forward.
- Partner with hiring leaders and internal stakeholders to respond to process-related questions and provide clear updates on onboarding status.
- Use systems and tools such as Workday, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, DocuSign, First Advantage, and related resources to manage documentation and workflows.
