Job Description
Recruiter - Queens, NY (Paratransit Industry) Professional Transit is the #1 Paratransit provider in New York. With over 20 years of established excellence, we are looking for an energetic, self-motivated Recruiter to join our growing team in Queens. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about sourcing top-tier talent, we want to hear from you. The Role As our Recruiter, you will manage high volume Full-Cycle Recruitment process to ensure our fleet and office teams are staffed with qualified professionals. You will be responsible for everything from community outreach to on-boarding.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing:
Develop and execute creative recruiting plans using Indeed, social media, and specialized job boards.Full-Cycle Management:
Screen, interview, and conduct background/reference checks to ensure high-quality hires.Community Outreach:
Represent the company at job fairs, career events, and through local community resources.Administrative Excellence:
Maintain accurate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and manage the on boarding/orientation process.Talent Pipeline:
Re-engage past qualified candidates and initiate reactivation processes for inactive staff.Requirements Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of recent, proven experience in high-volume recruitment or fast paced high pressure environmentTechnical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience managing various hiring platforms/ATS.Compliance:
Strong understanding of employment laws, lead generation, and networking techniques.Communication:
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.Attributes:
