Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HR Recruiter to support a growing retail food organization in Melville, New York as it expands hiring for new store openings. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can manage recruiting from initial outreach through offer stage while partnering closely with hiring teams in a corporate office environment. The role requires a proactive approach to sourcing talent, evaluating candidates, coordinating onboarding steps, and helping secure strong hires for multiple active openings.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a rising number of open positions, from sourcing candidates through offer coordination and hiring follow-up.
  • Review applications and resumes, identify candidates with relevant experience, and maintain timely communication with prospective employees.
  • Use job postings, direct sourcing methods, and recruiting channels to build candidate pipelines for store and corporate-related hiring needs.
  • Conduct candidate conversations and interviews to assess background, interest, and fit for the organization.
  • Partner with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to prioritize openings and move searches forward efficiently.
  • Support offer discussions by aligning candidate expectations with approved compensation parameters and assisting with pay negotiations.
  • Guide selected candidates through pre-employment and onboarding steps to help create a smooth transition into the business.
  • Track recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system and keep records organized, accurate, and up to date.
