Job Description
The Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruiting for Lead-level and above positions across assigned grocery store departments. This role focuses on attracting, assessing, and hiring leadership talent to support business objectives, workforce planning initiatives, and succession planning efforts. The Recruiter partners closely with store leadership, district leaders, and hiring managers to identify talent needs, develop sourcing strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. This position is responsible for recruiting all Lead-level and above position titles for our stores. Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for Lead, Supervisor, Assistant Manager, Manager, and other leadership-level positions. Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract qualified leadership talent. Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs. Utilize job boards, social media platforms, networking, employee referrals, and direct sourcing techniques to identify top candidates. Leadership Communications Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities. Conduct intake meetings to establish position requirements, hiring timelines, and recruitment strategies. Provide insights on labor market trends, candidate availability, and competitive hiring practices. Candidate Assessment & Selection Conduct candidate screenings, interviews, and evaluations. Assess leadership competencies, customer service orientation, business acumen, and organizational fit. Coordinate interviews and facilitate candidate feedback discussions. Support offer development, negotiations, and candidate closing activities. Recruitment Operations Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and recruiting procedures. Track recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, quality of hire, and hiring manager satisfaction. Talent Pipeline & Workforce Planning Develop internal and external talent pipelines for leadership positions. Support succession planning and internal promotion initiatives. Participate in hiring events, career fairs, and community outreach activities to enhance employer branding. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. 3-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience. Experience recruiting leadership-level positions in retail, grocery, hospitality, customer service, or related industries. Strong interviewing, sourcing, and candidate assessment skills. Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms. Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building abilities. Preferred Qualifications Grocery retail or multi-unit retail recruiting experience. Experience recruiting Department Leaders, Assistant Store Managers, and Store Managers. Knowledge of workforce planning and succession management practices. Professional recruiting certifications or related training.
