$28-30/hr
Location:
Long Island City, NY -
•5 days a week onsite
• Interview, Hire, and Onboard staffing replacements. Schedule and forecast interview appointments depending on staffing needs. Execute the hiring and application process according to company practices and legal compliance. Handle/Coordinate New Hire Orientation and Onboarding by reviewing company guidelines, work expectations, rules, and practices. Processes background checks in compliance of company practices and client specific requirements. Enrolls employees in the time and attendance system and processes activity changes as necessary. Monitors union card submissions and union dues. Interacts with payroll team in an effective and positive manner to process and resolve payroll related issues according to regulations and legal compliance. Elevates labor or client concerns to the HR Supervisor / HR Management team as necessary. Assist in operating the main operations department reception line in a professional and courteous manner when necessary.
