SUMMARY As a Recruiter at The Omega Morgan Group of Companies, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent for diverse construction projects across various fields. The primary purpose of this role is focusing on screening, scheduling and facilitation of interviews for candidates and ensuring these candidates have a positive and lasting impression of The Omega Morgan Group of Companies. This role will be communicating not only with applicants, but also coordinating with hiring managers across the various companies effectively and professionally. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Play a critical role within a fast based and focused environment, working to coordinate phone and virtual candidate interviews. This includes managing complex scheduling and facilities requirements and may assist in booking candidate travel as needed. Facilitate exceptional parentships with hiring managers and others involved in the hiring processes, prioritizing timely follow up and follow through, thoroughness in work product and attention to detail. Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals. Drive and participate in ad hoc process improvement initiatives and other recruiting projects. Ensure data integrity and update candidate records in the applicant tracking system for reporting as needed. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including staffing agencies, trade schools, and industry organizations, to expand the talent pool and enhance recruitment efforts. Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on best practices for interviewing, selection, and onboarding of construction personnel.
Job Duties:
Manage the job requisition process from inception to final approval. Confirm job posting details with hiring manager. Create jobs in ADP and post on company website. Post on job boards as needed. Review applications against basic job skills, conduct phone screens. Forward qualified applicants to hiring manager, making self-available as needed to assist in scheduling in person or virtual interviews. Update applicate tracking system on a regular basis. Create various reports as needed. Manage the candidate pipeline and applicant tracking system to track candidate progress and maintain accurate records of recruitment activities. Send new hire offer letters and internal new hire notices. Hand off to HR Coordinator at appropriate time, ensuring nothing is dropped Other duties may be assigned. Required Education and/or
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Recruiter in a fast-paced atmosphere, preferably in the construction industry. AA Degree, BS/BA preferred, or equivalent industry experience. Excellent organizational skills, time management, and creativity, performed in an on-site work environment. Excellent verbal communicator with exceptional written communication skills. High proficiency in MS Office products and Applicant Tracking Systems. Demonstrated experience providing exceptional candidate or customer experience.
