Franke Honors College invites you to apply for the Coordinator, Student Recruitment (Recruitment Professional II) position. The Coordinator, Student Recruitment is responsible for promoting the W.A. Franke Honors College to prospective students and families. This position fosters relationships with high schools, counselors, community-based organizations, and other faculty and staff in the Franke Honors College. This role supports prospective students and supporters through admissions processes, educational planning, and other enrollment services. The Coordinator, Student Recruitment is an effective communicator and creative problem solver who initiates proactive outreach efforts to prospective and incoming Franke Honors Wildcats. This position is responsible for administrative functions related to the role and the proper use of budget resources for recruitment activities, programs, and travel. This role will be hybrid and based in Scottsdale, AZ. Some duties can be performed remotely at home, but others will require an in-person presence at the University of Arizona Scottsdale Center. This position will allow for flexible/hybrid work arrangements due to travel obligations. Occasional travel to Main Campus in Tucson will be required for meetings or trainings. Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate recruitment travel and outreach activities within Maricopa County to achieve targeted enrollment goals, cultivate and recruit prospective applicants in the assigned territories, and maintain a consistent presence. Promote the W.A. Franke Honors College to prospective students at high schools, college fairs, and other recruitment events. Travel occasionally to Northern Arizona and large out-of-state markets as needed. Perform occasional evening and weekend work. Counsel and advise prospective students, parents, and high school counselors on educational planning, financial aid, enrollment services, and admissions processes/criteria. Communicate with stakeholders via email, telephone, and in-person. Keep a record of communications and interactions in CRM system (ex: Slate). Collaborate with committees to review and evaluate admissions applications to the W.A. Franke Honors College. Provide expert admissions reviews and recommendations for complex or specialized applicant pools to ensure alignment with institutional enrollment standards. Develop specialized recruitment programs in Maricopa County in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to promote enrollment pathways to the W.A. Franke Honors College. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of theories, concepts, principles, and industry best practices in university recruitment. Skill in public speaking in front of large audiences. Ability to drive university motorpool vehicles. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive student information. Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with different groups/individuals. Familiarity with CRM systems (Slate). Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required. Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Must have a valid driver's license and ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy . Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish. Previous experience at the University of Arizona as a student or staff member.
