PERFORMING ARTS COLLEGE ADVISOR
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Performing Arts College Advisor to guide students applying to music, theater, dance, film, and other performing arts programs. The ideal candidate will understand the specialized admissions requirements of competitive performing arts programs. Key Responsibilities Help students identify performing arts programs that align with their talents, goals, and academic profiles Guide students through auditions, prescreening submissions, portfolios, artistic résumés, repertoire selections, and supplemental applications Assist students in developing realistic and balanced college lists Create individualized application and audition timelines Prepare students for interviews, auditions, and meetings with program representatives Coordinate with teachers, coaches, private instructors, and other professionals when appropriate Remain current on performing arts admissions requirements, deadlines, and industry expectations Qualifications Master's degree required Minimum of three years of experience in performing arts admissions, college advising, music or performing arts education, or a related field Strong knowledge of audition-based and portfolio-based admissions Familiarity with conservatory, music, theater, dance, film, and other performing arts programs Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills
ATHLETIC RECRUITMENT COLLEGE ADVISOR
Position Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and student-centered Athletic Recruitment College Advisor to guide student-athletes through the college recruitment and admissions process. The ideal candidate will understand athletic recruitment timelines, NCAA eligibility requirements, academic expectations, and the unique pressures facing student-athletes. Key Responsibilities Help student-athletes identify colleges that align with their academic, athletic, financial, and personal goals Educate student-athletes about NCAA divisions, eligibility requirements, recruitment timelines, and registration with the NCAA Eligibility Center Assist students with athletic résumés, recruitment profiles, highlight videos, questionnaires, and introductory communications to coaches Help students organize coach outreach, campus visits, showcases, camps, and recruitment deadlines Monitor academic progress and help students understand course and eligibility requirements Prepare students for conversations with college coaches and admissions representatives Help students evaluate recruitment opportunities, roster expectations, scholarships, and overall college fit Coordinate with coaches, schools, and other professionals when appropriate Qualifications Master's degree in higher education, counseling, sports management, or a related field preferred Minimum of three years of experience in athletic recruitment, collegiate academic advising, student-athlete development, coaching, athletic compliance, or a related field Working knowledge of NCAA recruitment and academic eligibility requirements Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple students, deadlines, and priorities
FINANCIAL AID ADVISOR
Position Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and compassionate Financial Aid Advisor to help students understand college costs and navigate the financial-aid process. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with a supportive and student-centered approach. Key Responsibilities Educate students about FAFSA, the CSS Profile, federal and state aid, grants, scholarships, loans, and work-study opportunities Provide guidance throughout the financial-aid application process Help students organize the financial documents required for applications Assist students in researching and applying for scholarships and grants Explain the Student Aid Index, demonstrated financial need, and different forms of financial assistance Help students review and compare college financial-aid offers Provide guidance regarding financial-aid appeals and requests for reconsideration Educate students about responsible borrowing, college affordability, and debt management Maintain the confidentiality of all student financial information Remain current on financial-aid procedures and federal, state, and institutional requirements Qualifications Master's degree required Minimum of 3 years of experience in a college financial-aid office, college advising organization, or related setting Familiarity with FAFSA, the CSS Profile, federal and state aid programs, scholarships, grants, and student loans Strong mathematical, analytical, organizational, and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and relevant student-information systems Ability to explain complex financial information clearly and compassionately
