Job Description

The Contract Recruiter is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned roles in a remote capacity. Day-to-day activities include but are not limited to creating and posting job descriptions, proactively sourcing candidates through online platforms, networks, and databases, screening and interviewing applicants, scheduling interviews, and following up with hiring managers to obtain interview feedback. The role involves screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, coordinating interview schedules, and guiding candidates through the selection process. The Contract Recruiter will maintain accurate candidate records, provide timely status updates, and support offer negotiation and onboarding coordination as needed. This is a contract, remote role that requires strong organizational skills, professional communication, and the ability to work independently within agreed timelines and performance expectations. Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and managing candidate pipelines.

Strong skills in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), professional networking platforms (e.g., LinkedIn), and other recruitment tools.

Knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, including inclusive hiring, non-discriminatory screening, and compliance with relevant employment laws.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple searches, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Prior recruiting experience in public accounting, professional services, or the nonprofit sector is highly beneficial.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a focus on clear, professional interaction with candidates and hiring teams.

Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple requisitions and meet deadlines in a remote environment.

Knowledge of fair hiring practices, equal employment opportunity principles, and compliance with relevant employment regulations.

Proven capability to build relationships with stakeholders, understand role requirements, and provide consultative guidance on talent market conditions.

Adaptability to changing hiring needs and comfort working on a contract basis, including managing workload and availability accordingly.
