Job Summary A growing staffing and employment services team is seeking a driven Staffing Consultant in Tucson, AZ. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a sales-minded professional who enjoys business development, relationship building, recruiting, and the satisfaction of matching great talent with client needs. As a Staffing Consultant, you will own the full 360-degree sales and recruiting cycle, from prospecting new business and consulting with hiring decision-makers to recruiting qualified candidates and managing ongoing client relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new client accounts through outbound calls, networking, LinkedIn outreach, and local market activity.
- Meet with business owners, hiring managers, and decision-makers to understand hiring challenges and present tailored staffing solutions.
- Negotiate placement terms, bill rates, margins, and service expectations with clients.
- Recruit, screen, and match qualified candidates to open client positions.
- Manage client relationships to drive repeat business, account growth, and long-term partnerships.
- Maintain a high level of sales activity, pipeline management, and performance accountability. Compensation and Benefits

- Consult with employers to identify staffing needs and recommend hiring solutions.
- Recruit and match qualified candidates to client job openings.
- Manage accounts to support repeat business and revenue growth.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, staffing, recruiting, or a high-volume client-facing role.
- Strong hunter mentality with comfort making outbound calls and pursuing new business.
- Ability to build relationships with decision-makers and position staffing services as a consultative solution.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Resilient, goal-oriented, and motivated by metrics, activity, and results.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across sales, recruiting, client service, and account management. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in B2B sales, staffing, recruiting, or employment services.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, CRM tools, applicant tracking systems, or other sales and recruiting platforms.
- Proven success meeting sales goals, production metrics, or business development targets.
