Job Description

Waltonen is actively seeking a Technical Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. The Technical Recruiter will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting of specialized technical and professional talent supporting Waltonen's automotive, aerospace, defense, tooling, manufacturing, engineering, automation, robotics, IT, and other related business services.
Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle recruiting from requisition intake through offer acceptance. Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and develop effective recruiting strategies. Source active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, referrals, career fairs, and other recruiting channels. Recruit for specialized positions including designers, CAD professionals, robotic simulation, system layout, BIW/tooling processors, tooling and manufacturing professionals, IT, project/program management, engineering, and defense product design. Develop and maintain talent pipelines for hard-to-fill technical positions. Review resumes and conduct initial interviews to evaluate technical experience, qualifications, communication skills, and overall fit. Develop an understanding of technical disciplines, software platforms, manufacturing processes, and industry terminology to effectively identify qualified candidates. Coordinate interviews and maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process. Work closely with hiring managers to provide candidate feedback, recruiting updates, and market insight. Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information within the applicant tracking system. Represent Waltonen professionally to candidates and promote the company's capabilities, culture, and career opportunities. Research recruiting markets and identify creative sourcing strategies for specialized talent. Support employer branding, recruiting events, university/technical school outreach, and employee referral initiatives. Assist with developing and updating job descriptions as business and project needs evolve.
Qualifications:
3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience. Experience recruiting for technical, professional, manufacturing, engineering, IT, or other specialized positions. Strong sourcing and candidate-development skills. Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interviewing and relationship-building skills. Ability to understand technical qualifications and effectively communicate candidate qualifications to hiring managers. Experience working with an ATS/recruiting platform. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Recruiting experience within automotive, aerospace, defense, tooling, manufacturing, engineering services, robotics, automation, or related industries. Experience recruiting for body-in-white/tooling, CAD/design, robotic simulation, system layout, manufacturing, or defense product design. Familiarity with CAD/design software such as NX, Creo, CATIA, or related platforms. Experience recruiting technical professionals for project-based engineering or manufacturing environments. Experience sourcing passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter or similar platforms. Existing network within automotive, aerospace, defense, manufacturing, engineering, or technical services. Experience with JazzHR or a similar applicant tracking system. All employees are required to work within the confines and responsibilities of the quality system.
