We are seeking an adaptable, customer-focused Staffing Coordinator/Recruiter to support local operations in Lancaster, SC. This position serves as an important administrative and recruiting resource, supporting employee onboarding, recruiting activities, regional managers, and office administration while helping create a smooth experience for new hires. Recruiter Duties & Responsibilities Manage the administrative onboarding workflow for incoming employees, including preparing offer letters, initiating background checks, and coordinating drug and TB screenings. Support recruiting activities, including applicant screening, candidate communication, interview scheduling, and follow-up throughout the hiring process. Maintain accurate employee and candidate records within the HRIS system to support accurate reporting and operational continuity. Coordinate routine administrative operations for the primary Lancaster office while providing scheduled, part-time administrative support—approximately ½ to 1 full day per week—to a nearby Chester County office. Provide exceptional customer service and professional communication when interacting with area managers, field personnel, employees, candidates, and client representatives. Independently troubleshoot onboarding, scheduling, documentation, and administrative discrepancies while using sound judgment to resolve day-to-day challenges. Support regional managers with open office hours, applicant screening assistance, and candidate interview scheduling during periods of increased hiring activity. Assist with sourcing and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline for hourly and operational positions. Assist with other administrative and recruiting responsibilities as needed to support local leadership and branch operations. Recruiter Requirements Proven experience in staffing, recruiting coordination, human resources, office administration, or another high-volume administrative environment. Experience working with HRIS platforms and ATS. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar productivity tools. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to remain professional, calm, and tactful when working with different management styles and personalities. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong emotional intelligence, resilience, and a solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with managers and team members. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with the ability to periodically travel between local office locations in Lancaster and Chester, South Carolina .
