Job Description
Join Our Research Team The Healthy Lifestyles for Humanity Research Center at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center is seeking a highly organized and personable Research Study Recruiter to support participant recruitment, screening, and enrollment activities for the HABITS (Making Healthy Habits Stick) study. The successful candidate will serve as a primary point of contact for prospective participants and healthcare providers, helping ensure efficient study enrollment and successful completion of required medical clearances. This position is not benefit-eligible. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in public health, psychology, health sciences, social sciences, nursing, or related field. Experience working with research participants, patients, clients, or healthcare consumers. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Ability to communicate professionally with participants, healthcare providers, and research staff. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in clinical or behavioral research. Experience conducting participant screening or recruitment activities. Experience working with electronic data capture systems or research databases. Familiarity with HIPAA and human subjects research regulations. Experience communicating with healthcare providers and medical offices. Experience coordinating multi-step workflows and follow-up activities. This person should be proactive, dependable, and committed to helping participants navigate the research process from initial contact through enrollment.
