As a Region Recruiter II, youll play an important role in helping United Rentals attract and hire the people who keep our operations moving. Youll partner with hiring managers and leaders across the region to understand their workforce needs, identify strong candidates, and build recruiting pipelines for a wide range of positions. This role is about more than filling openings. Youll build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, workforce organizations, schools, and community partners while helping connect talented people with career opportunities throughout United Rentals. What you'll do: Partner with hiring managers and regional leadership to understand current and upcoming staffing needs
Recruit and source qualified candidates for positions across the region
Develop candidate pipelines for positions with ongoing and future hiring needs
Review resumes and applications and identify candidates whose skills and experience align with available opportunities
Conduct candidate outreach and maintain communication throughout the recruiting process
Coordinate interviews and other steps in the candidate selection process
Build relationships with workforce organizations, colleges, technical schools, community organizations, and other recruiting partners
Represent United Rentals at career fairs, hiring events, and other recruiting activities
Maintain accurate recruiting records and candidate information
Support recruiting initiatives and workforce strategies across the region
Other duties assigned as needed
Requirements:
- Strong recruiting, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to effectively partner with hiring managers, candidates, and community organizations
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple positions and recruiting priorities simultaneously
- Experience sourcing candidates and developing recruiting pipelines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a larger recruiting and Human Resources team
