We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and results-driven Skilled Nurse Recruiter to help us attract and hire exceptional healthcare professionals for our Skilled Nursing Department. About the Role Recruiting is a critical part of our success. We are looking for someone who enjoys connecting with people, moves quickly, communicates exceptionally well, and takes ownership of results. The ideal candidate is organized, outgoing, tech-savvy, competitive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You should enjoy finding great candidates - not simply waiting for applications to come in. You will be based in our Ashburn, Virginia office and work closely with our Senior Recruiter and Skilled Nursing leadership to manage the recruiting lifecycle, build strong candidate pipelines, and develop relationships with nursing programs, schools, universities, and community partners. Duties Partner with the Senior Recruiter and Skilled Nursing leadership to develop and execute recruiting strategies for current and future staffing needs. Source and engage qualified healthcare professionals through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, schools, community partnerships, cold outreach, and other creative recruiting methods. Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates. Post, monitor, and continuously improve job advertisements across multiple recruiting platforms. Review applications and resumes and conduct candidate prescreening interviews. Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with candidates throughout the recruiting process. Coordinate interviews and help move qualified candidates efficiently through the hiring process. Conduct reference checks and assist with required pre-employment processes. Support onboarding and orientation preparation for newly hired employees. Develop relationships with nursing schools, universities, training programs, and other organizations that can provide strong candidate pipelines. Represent BrightStar Care at career fairs, recruiting events, school visits, and community events. Help strengthen BrightStar Care's reputation as an employer of choice within the healthcare community. Maintain accurate candidate records, recruiting activity, and required documentation. Identify new recruiting channels, technologies, partnerships, and strategies that can improve hiring results. What Were Looking For High school diploma required; college degree preferred. Recruiting experience preferred, with healthcare recruiting experience considered a strong advantage. Recent college graduates with strong communication, organizational, sales, marketing, or human resources skills are encouraged to apply. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to proactively engage prospective candidates. Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through. Comfortable with technology, recruiting platforms, databases, social media, and electronic recordkeeping. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while also contributing to a team. Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and candidate information. Familiarity with applicable employment regulations is preferred. Willingness to travel periodically for recruiting events, school visits, meetings, and community outreach. Flexibility to occasionally adjust working hours based on recruiting events or candidate availability.
