- 5:00 PM.
Salary and Benefits:
This is a full-time, benefited Staff, S33 level position.Starting salary range:

JOB SUMMARY
The Recruitment & Hiring Specialist is a full-time, benefited position, responsible for executing the College's hiring and recruitment strategy and operations. This position focuses on fulfillment of the operational and tactical aspects of Human Resource services specializing on those related to the hiring process and services to/for employees via planning, processing, tracking, analyzing, reporting, and problem-solving/troubleshooting. Serves as the primary specialist for the overall hiring process to include recruitment, analysis, compensation, and new hire processing.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and workplace terminology. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. Knowledge of office procedures and of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and arithmetic. Knowledge of FERPA, Title IX, FMLA, and FLSA laws and regulations. PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS
There may be occurrences of interacting with employees and/or students, past employees and/or students, members of the general public, and others who express opinions, may exhibit strong emotions, which will require the employee to interact professionally, diplomatically, and appropriately in such situations While performing the essential duties of this position, an employee would frequently be required to move around the assigned work areas as well as within hallways, meeting rooms, and other parts of the campus facilities There may be multiple/daily instances of prolonged sitting, standing, and personal computer use, which would include keyboard and/or mouse usage as well as viewing a computer monitor An employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus The overall work environment requires the mental ability to shift focal point quickly due to interruptions; an employee must be able to mentally track multiple projects and tasking as wellNOTE:

. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, communications, human resources, psychology, or related field of study. Two (2) years of experience working in human resources. Demonstrated customer service skills.Preferred Qualifications :
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in business, communications, human resources, psychology, or related field of study. Two or more years of work experience in talent acquisition, staffing and/or recruitment. Professional working experience in partnering with Executive leadership and various levels of managers and supervisors on recruiting, selection, and hiring processes. Demonstrated skill in working effectively under pressure, ability to be agile and flexible with multiple deadlines, and changing priorities. Certification as a Society for Human Resources Management SHRM- S)CP or Human Resource Certification Institute HRCI (S)PHR.
