Job Description

KW Lafayette Success Group is looking for a relationship-driven growth leader who can understand businesses and the people behind them, recognize opportunities for growth, and connect people with ideas, resources, and relationships that can help. You do not need to come from real estate. You do need to understand people, sales, follow-up, and what it takes to consistently move opportunities forward. Our organization has consistently led the Greater Lafayette real estate market in agent count, closed units, and closed sales volume. We have a strong foundation, access to world-class training and coaching, and meaningful room to grow. We are looking for the person who can help us build what comes next. What you'll do Your job is to help us grow the businesses of the people already here and grow the organization by attracting talented people who should be here. You will build trusted relationships with real estate professionals and, using proven business models, help them clarify goals, identify constraints, create plans, and connect with resources that can move them forward. You are not expected to have every answer. In fact, we'd rather you didn't pretend to. A big part of this job is listening for patterns. When you identify a recurring need, you will find someone who has already solved it, turn their experience into a useful learning opportunity, and get the right people into the room. You will help shape our development calendar, lead weekly business conversations, facilitate select training, and connect our agents to outstanding practitioners, coaches, trainers, and other resources. You will also build relationships with talented real estate professionals outside our organization. That means working a CRM, initiating conversations, following up consistently, understanding people's businesses, and earning the right to stay in relationship with them. We are less interested in transactional recruiting than we are in becoming genuinely useful.
The goal is simple:
when you call, people answer because they believe the conversation will be worth having. Growth in this business happens through relationships. You should enjoy initiating conversations, pursuing opportunities, earning trust over time, working toward measurable goals, and seeing your effort show up on a scoreboard. You will also stay informed about the Greater Lafayette real estate market, the competitive landscape, and broader economic and industry trends so that your conversations remain relevant and useful. The kind of person who thrives here You enjoy being surrounded by talented professionals and helping them get better. You like conversations about businesses, not just transactions. You build relationships before you need something from them. You keep your word. You think beyond this month's numbers and toward sustainable growth. You participate, contribute, and bring energy to the room. When something isn't working, your instinct is to help find the solution. You are persistent without becoming transactional. A conversation that doesn't produce an immediate result doesn't feel like a failure to you. You understand that some of the best relationships and opportunities are built over time. You are comfortable leading without needing to be "the boss." You can create alignment and move people forward while still working alongside everyone else. You are curious before you are certain. You listen before prescribing, do your homework, and ask good questions. You are comfortable saying, "I don't know enough yet," and then finding out. Most importantly, people can count on you. You follow through, communicate professionally, respect other people's time, and take ownership without waiting for someone to give you a list of tasks. What you should bring We care more about demonstrated capability than a particular degree, industry, or number of years of experience. Strong candidates may come from sales, business development, account management, recruiting, real estate or an adjacent industry, hospitality, customer service, education, training, or another relationship-intensive environment.
You should already be comfortable:
Working a sales or relationship pipeline and understanding that consistent activity creates opportunity Using a CRM and following an intentional outreach strategy Listening well and having meaningful one-on-one conversations Communicating clearly in writing and in front of a group Understanding basic business economics, financial goals, and how activity ultimately translates into results Helping people establish goals and identify meaningful next actions Managing your own calendar, priorities, and commitments Learning independently and applying what you learn Using modern technology and generative AI to research, think, communicate, or work more effectively. You do not need to be an AI power user, but you should not be starting from zero. Real estate experience is a meaningful advantage, but it is not required. If you are not currently licensed, you will be expected to obtain an Indiana real estate license within your first twelve months. We will cover the licensing costs. How we work We are a small, collaborative leadership team. Everyone owns their responsibilities, and everyone pitches in when the organization needs it. This role works closely with our Operating Principal, Broker, Market Center Administrator, and support team to carry out the organization's vision. You will be given trust and increasing autonomy as you learn the business and demonstrate judgment. This is a full-time, primarily in-office role in Lafayette, generally Monday through Friday. It includes occasional early morning or evening events, networking throughout Greater Lafayette, monthly visits to our Crawfordsville satellite office, and approximately 3-5 regional or national overnight training trips each year. We care more about relationships, commitments, and results than punching a clock. That flexibility works because people can count on one another. This is a dedicated leadership role and is not intended to be combined with maintaining a personal real estate sales business. Compensation & benefits Base salary: $60,000-$72,000 based on experience Realistic total compensation: $75,000-$100,000+ through growth and profitability incentives Benefits include flexible paid time off, professional-development support, company-paid real estate licensing, and business travel reimbursement. Our Keller Williams affiliation also provides access to extensive training, coaching, national events, and experienced business leaders throughout the organization. Within Keller Williams, this position is traditionally known as the Team Leader . We use Director of Agent Growth & Recruiting because it more clearly describes the opportunity to candidates inside and outside real estate. How to apply Send us your résumé. No formal cover letter is required. Instead, briefly answer: What is something you've learned in the last year that materially changed how you work? There is no answer we are looking for. We are interested in what you chose, why it mattered, and what you actually did differently because of it.
