New York Are you a strategic legal recruiting leader with a strong network in the partner market and a passion for driving law firm growth? We are seeking a Senior Manager of Partner Recruiting to lead the recruitment, onboarding, and integration of lateral partners and groups across multiple U.S. and international offices. Reporting to the Senior Director of Legal Recruiting , this highly visible role will partner closely with firm leadership, including Office Managing Partners and Department Chairs, to develop and execute lateral hiring strategies that align with the firm's growth objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of lateral partner and group recruiting across assigned offices. Partner with firm leadership to identify strategic hiring priorities and growth opportunities. Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to build and maintain a strong partner pipeline. Analyze market trends and provide strategic recommendations to recruiting and firm leadership. Cultivate relationships with legal search consultants, industry contacts, and recruiting professionals. Develop tailored recruiting strategies and candidate engagement plans for high-profile lateral partner hires. Coordinate due diligence efforts, including review of business plans, LPQs, interview feedback, and related materials. Support diversity-focused partner recruiting initiatives in collaboration with firm leadership. Partner with marketing teams to create compelling recruiting and branding materials. Mentor and develop recruiting professionals involved in lateral partner hiring. Represent the firm at legal recruiting organizations, conferences, and industry events. Qualifications 6+ years of legal recruiting or talent management experience within a law firm or professional services environment. Significant experience recruiting lateral partners and practice groups. Bachelor's degree required; J.D. strongly preferred. Established network of relationships with partner-level legal recruiters and search firms. Prior leadership or direct management experience preferred. Deep understanding of the legal market and law firm growth strategies. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with recruiting technology and databases, including platforms such as LawCruit, viDesktop, Firm Prospects, or similar systems. Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Flexibility to travel and work extended hours as needed.
