Job Description

Job Description Overview This person will own training for the Default Servicing teams, including Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Claims, Conveyance, Property Preservation, and Loss Mitigation. They will help onboard new hires, develop training materials, and ensure employees understand the full mortgage default servicing lifecycle, investor guidelines, and compliance requirements. Day-to-Day
  • Train new hires and existing employees on the mortgage loan lifecycle and default servicing processes
  • Create and maintain training guides, process maps, SOPs, and reference materials
  • Support large onboarding classes and manage training schedules independently
  • Work closely with servicing leaders and Investor Relations teams
  • Ensure employees understand investor guidelines, compliance requirements, and operational processes
  • Deliver virtual and instructor-led training sessions
  • Identify training gaps and provide ongoing coaching and development

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
  • 5-7+ years of mortgage servicing experience with strong knowledge of: ○ Foreclosure ○ Bankruptcy ○ Claims ○ Default Servicing
  • 2-3+ years of leadership, supervisory, or training experience
  • Strong understanding of the mortgage loan lifecycle and investor guidelines
  • Experience creating training materials, process documentation, and process maps
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Experience as a dedicated trainer, learning & development specialist, or curriculum developer
  • Experience using ICE Mortgage Technology
  • Experience creating training programs in Canva or similar tools Previous experience developing onboarding programs and training content
