Austin Bridge & Road has an outstanding opportunity for a Training Manager at our corporate headquarters in Coppell, Texas. In this highly visible role, the Training Manager will help shape how employees learn, grow, and succeed by creating practical, engaging training programs that support both field and office teams. This individual will partner with leaders and subject matter experts across the business to turn real-world knowledge into meaningful learning experiences that strengthen capabilities, support career development, and drive business results. Supervisory Responsibilities N/A Functional Areas of Responsibility Leads the design of enterprise learning solutions Serves as learning consultant to business leaders Delivers engaging training content Influences learning strategy and delivery models Support various communication items as needed for the company Estimated 80% training and 20% communication focus Specific Duties and Responsibilities Partner with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather requirements, source content, and ensure technical accuracy of training materials. Design, develop, and deliver both online and in-person training with supporting materials such as: eLearning modules and microlearning instructor-led slide decks and facilitator guides workbooks, checklists, and quick reference guides scenario-based activities and knowledge validation Apply adult learning principles to make training relevant and engaging. Lead end‑to‑end learning solutions aligned to business priorities, including Austin's career development program. Manage timelines and deliverables across multiple training projects. Collect and analyze learner feedback and performance data to continuously improve training effectiveness and clarity. Build and maintain a reusable content library that includes templates, graphics, and style guides). Define success metrics for training effectiveness. Provide administrative support with Austin's Learning Management System (LMS). Provide general internal communication support such as flyers, news announcements, etc. Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Background in education, training, human resources, or organizational development preferred Experience with blended learning techniques (virtual, instructor led, etc.) Bilingual background a plus, but not required Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative Exceptional verbal skills and concise communication are key to success in this role Excellent organizational and time management skills
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in organizational development, education, human resources, business, or equivalent required; or related experience in training and development or equivalent may substitute 5+ years of experience in both developing and delivering training content 3-5 years of experience either coaching or developing others Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) Valid driver's license Day and overnight travel up to 25% in the Texas market as needed Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.
