Key Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Changes. Research of legal and regulatory requirements for mortgage lending activities. Assist with maintenance of compliance content, including state specific matrices.
• Compliance Review. Coordinate with outside counsel on legal review, including sourcing, engagement, and the preparation and delivery of materials for review.
• Development Requests. Support testing of compliance and regulatory updates to ensure changes are executed properly and timely.
• Client Communication.

Provide client updates, and ensure a smooth, responsive experience by promptly answering questions or otherwise routing them to the appropriate team. Assist with user notification of compliance changes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• General knowledge of the lending industry (preferably private lending)
• Proficient with conducting legal research using Westlaw and other online research tools
• Experience with legal document preparation
• Highly organized and able to prioritize / work on multiple tasks simultaneously
• Able to work well with people and technology
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including proofreading skills

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree
• Ability to work in-office in Orange County, California
• Willing to take on-camera video conferences with customers and coworkers

$32.00 - $42.00 per hour
