FULL DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Training Coordinator to provide administrative and logistical support for employee training and development activities. This temp-to-hire role is responsible for coordinating multiple training sessions, managing registrations through a Learning Management System, sending training announcements and Outlook invitations, tracking attendance, distributing post-training surveys, maintaining accurate training records, and communicating with trainers and participants. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple deadlines, and proficient with Microsoft Office and administrative systems. The selected candidate will be responsible for: Coordinating and supporting multiple training sessions simultaneously Sending training announcements and participant communications Managing training registrations in the Learning Management System Creating and sending Outlook calendar invitations Tracking and recording training attendance Sending post-training surveys to participants Tracking survey responses and related follow-up Maintaining accurate training records and participant information Communicating with trainers and participants regarding schedules, logistics, and updates Coordinating training calendars and deadlines Following up with participants regarding registration, attendance, and required training activities Supporting training documentation and administrative reporting Maintaining organized electronic records and files Using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and related systems to support daily training activities Responding to routine training-related questions and requests Supporting the Director of Employee Development with administrative and coordination needs Performing other duties as assigned The selected candidate will also possess: Strong organizational skills required Strong attention to detail required Ability to manage multiple trainings, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously required Strong written and verbal communication skills required Microsoft Word proficiency required Microsoft Excel proficiency required Microsoft Outlook proficiency required Experience with a Learning Management System preferred Strong administrative support and follow-up skills required Experience maintaining accurate records and documentation required Ability to create and manage calendar invitations required Strong time management skills required Ability to communicate professionally with trainers, participants, and internal staff Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work in a professional, family-friendly environment Ability to work onsite in Riverside, CA Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Ability to support a temp-to-hire opportunity
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods while managing training registrations, calendars, attendance records, emails, surveys, and administrative documentation Ability to use hands and fingers for typing, data entry, filing, LMS navigation, calendar management, and standard office tasks Ability to review training records, participant information, spreadsheets, schedules, surveys, emails, and computer screens for extended periods Ability to communicate by phone, email, video meeting, and in person throughout the workday Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout an office or training environment as needed Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move standard office files, training materials, documents, or supplies as needed Ability to maintain accuracy, organization, professionalism, and attention to detail while coordinating multiple training activities
