Content Creator & Presenter One on One Learning | Part-Time / Contract | $100-$475 per session + hourly creation rate About the Role One on One Learning is seeking a versatile Professional Development Specialist who can both build high-impact learning experiences and deliver them live to K-12 educators. In this dual role, you will work with our Learning, Instruction, and Curriculum team to design research-based PD materials and directly facilitate those sessions for our partner schools and districts. You'll translate instructional best practices into engaging, practical workshops that teachers can implement immediately—driving measurable change in classrooms and student outcomes. What You'll Do Content Creation & Instructional Design •
Develop Materials:
Build PD presentations (2-hour to full-day sessions), participant handouts, activity sheets, and facilitator guides using our AI-assisted workflow (Claude AI) and brand guidelines. •
Craft Facilitation Notes:
Write clear, pointer-style facilitator notes complete with pacing, timing, and engagement prompts. •
Design Active Learning:
Create purposeful icebreakers, hands-on activities, discussion scenarios, and reflection structures (e.g., Think-Pair-Share) tailored for adult learners in virtual or in-person formats. •
Ensure Quality & Accuracy:
Review and quality-check all decks for formatting, accurate research citations, and practical classroom relevance before final delivery. Presentation & Facilitation •
Deliver High-Impact Sessions:
Facilitate engaging on-site or virtual PD sessions for teachers and school support staff. •
Adapt & Engage:
Deliver sessions dynamically, adapting pacing and emphasis to the live audience while confidently handling off-script questions. • Represent the

Represent One on One Learning with polish, enthusiasm, and professionalism in every district setting. •
Continuous Improvement:
Use live field feedback and session outcomes to refine decks, materials, and future delivery models. What We're Looking For • K-12
Educational Background:
Meaningful experience in K-12 education (classroom teaching, instructional coaching, curriculum design, or school leadership). •
Dynamic Presenter:
Comfort and confidence holding the room and facilitating engaging sessions for adult audiences. •
Adult Learning Expertise:
Strong foundation in adult learning theory, engagement strategies, and core instructional frameworks (e.g., differentiation, PBIS, data-informed instruction). •
Strong Writing & Tech Skills:
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Word, excellent written communication, and comfort learning AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT (we will train you on our specific workflow). •
Detail-Oriented & Organized:
Exceptional time management, strong preparation habits, and an eye for catching formatting or content inconsistencies. •
Flexibility & Travel:
Reliable transportation for local, on-site sessions and availability for occasional regional travel. Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience both designing and delivering professional development for educators. • Instructional design coursework or certification. Onboarding & Support You will be supported directly by our Learning, Instruction, and Curriculum team. New specialists complete comprehensive onboarding covering our AI-assisted design workflow, presentation best practices, and session logistics. You'll also participate in annual refreshers and ongoing opportunities to expand the topics you are certified to build and deliver. Compensation & Scheduling This is a flexible, contract/part-time position. •
Facilitation Pay:
$100-$475 per session, based on session length and scope. •
Content Creation Pay:
Hourly contract rate for development work (commensurate with experience). •
Flexibility:
Work availability varies across the school year; specialists are matched with opportunities based on availability and certifications and may accept or decline offered sessions.
